Back in 2008, when Ford introduced the previous-generation Focus -- designed strictly for North America -- one of the Ford staffers hinted to me that the next-generation Focus would once again be identical to the European-market car. Well, that day has come -- the new Focus is a European design that's built right here in the States. But is that necessarily a good thing?
